I wish to thank my student, massage therapist (and now a manual osteopath) Alina Turturica who came all the way from Romania to study manual osteopathy at the York University Heights campus of National Academy of Osteopathy in Toronto. I am honoured to have such dedicated students.

A student who leaves the comfort of home to travel 1000s of kilometers away to improve himself is truly an outstanding individual.

I am sure Alina will become a successful manual osteopath and I am proud to have her as a colleague.

Flexing Biceps

Flexing my biceps is my trademark while I teach. I was told by management not to talk about my muscles when I teach but I cannot resist.

Here is a photo of my students with Professor Rachel Orr, BA, RMT, DOMP teaching osteopathic soft tissue therapy. They took a group photo flexing their biceps just for me!

At 4:30 in the morning, when I saw this photo it brought so much joy and happiness to my heart. It reminded me why I work so hard.

Thank you everyone. You made me so happy!

Top Lucrative Locations to Work as Manual Osteopaths

In these series I will introduce locations around the world where the practice of manual osteopathy is quite lucrative.

Naples, Florida (USA)

Naples (Florida) is one of the richest towns in the US. In 2016 it was chosen as the happiest town in the states. It is also one of the top 10 most beautiful cities in USA and #1 in Florida.

The population is mostly wealthy and seniors. There are many medical clinics in every corner of the city. Osteopathic manual practitioners in Naples generally charge $150 (US) or higher per hour of manual osteopathic care, making on average over $24,000 US per month, with minimal office expenses. They get booked pretty quickly through word of mouth referrals as manual osteopathy offers amazing miraculous treatments for chronic pain as well as relaxation.

Florida does not have personal state income tax, so aside from federal tax, there is not much other expenses.

In my business lectures I go over how to find employment in this city and how to move there if you are not a US resident.
